Greece

A country which is not only a beautiful destination with it’s ocean landscapes, perceptible architecture and delectable food, it’s also incredibly affordable from other European countries.

Description :

Greece is where western civilization began and everywhere you turn you’ll find ruins which are thousands of years old. Start with it’s capital, Athens with a museum Acropolis and surrounding ruins (the Agora is wonderful), and then set off explore ruins of Delphi, Sparta and Crete. If you love history you’ll love Greece.

Places where you should visit while you plan for your Greece trip are as follows:

Athens:-

Athens has an extensive public transportation system that includes the Metro, city buses, tram, electric trolley buses, and suburban railway. Most transport runs from 5 am to midnight with the Metro running until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Following the best time to visit Greece is in Spring and early summers i.e. from mid-Apr to mid-June or autumn i.e. Sept to mid-Oct, with this you’ll avoid Summer high season.

Mykonos:-

With a length of 12 to 15 km and width of 10 Km, Mykonos is one of the smallest of Cyclades island. The best way to explore the island is to use public transportation like buses and taxis. Mykonos Town is an ideal place to stay in Mykonos with two bus station to take you around the island :

Main Southern bus station of Fabrica . Northern bus station at old port ferry quay.

Santorini:-

Santorini needs little Introduction, especially as a beautiful Greek Islands. In fact, I’d go as far in saying it’s probably one of the most iconic Greek islands to visit. You can explore the Island by hiring a Taxi, shared transfers, bus or a rental car. To make it easier, I’ve grouped island into three general categories – caldera views, beaches, and local living which is mentioned below. Caldera/ Sunset Views:  Fira and Oia. Beaches:  Kamari, Perissa, Akrotiri

Local Life:  Megalochori, Pyrgos Kallistis, Emporio.

Corfu:-

There are some places across Europe that just seem under-rated, not because of how popular/unpopular they are or even because of how beautiful (or otherwise) they are but instead because of how familiar they’ve become. Corfu is one of those which is greenest island with dense vegetation, unmatched in natural beauty. With dozens of sightseeing, beautiful beaches, and a very dense road network .

The Old Town of Corfu is a cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site & capital of Corfu in Greece. It was inscribed in 2007 during the 31st session stating at pivot of keeping this place in your travel bucket list.
